Mixo.io is an AI-powered website builder that simplifies web development by using advanced machine learning algorithms to generate websites using text prompts. Mixo.io offers a range of features and tools that make it easy to create a professional-looking SEO-optimised website quickly and without coding.

Let’s try Mixo.io and create a web directory for storing URLs.
Giving Mixo.io a Prompt
First, I gave Mixo.io a prompt describing the website I wanted to build. Within a few seconds, it produced a draft — and it understood the brief well.
It created a charming, responsive first page with information about the website that manages URL storage, complete with some sample reviews and a brand logo.

Mixo.io pulls in Unsplash images by default, though you can swap in any image you like. AI-generated images would be a nice addition, but that’s not essential and might arrive later.
Customisation
You can change any page element to your liking. You can change images, edit content, or rewrite text fragments using AI. You can also add web pages with AI.
Style and colours
You can change primary and secondary colours for styling your website. Keep your colour palette minimal, at least to start.
Hosting and SSL certificate
Mixo.io also hosts your created website and provides SSL certificate.
An SSL certificate, which stands for Secure Sockets Layer, is a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and encrypts the data transmitted between the website and its visitors. It ensures that sensitive information like usernames, passwords, credit card numbers, and other personal data is securely transmitted over the Internet.
When a website has an SSL certificate installed, it is indicated by a padlock icon in the browser’s address bar, and the URL starts with “https” instead of “http”. This encryption helps to protect the integrity and confidentiality of the data exchanged, providing users with a safer browsing experience.
SEO optimisation
SEO optimisation, or search engine optimisation, improves a website’s visibility and ranking on search engine results pages (SERPs). It involves various techniques and strategies to make a website more attractive to search engines, ultimately driving organic (non-paid) traffic to the site.
Mixo.io enables on-page SEO optimisation. On-page optimisation involves optimising website elements, such as page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URL structures, and content relevancy. It also ensures a website has a mobile-friendly design, fast loading speed, and a good user experience.
