Three years of Elena's AI Blog 🎈08 Dec 2024Elena Daehnhardt |
Hello, my Dear Reader,
We are celebrating this blog’s birthday, albeit a bit later. Elena’s AI Blog is now three years old, a mere toddler learning to navigate the complicated AI landscape.
Why so late? This year was hectic and challenging for me and my beloved husband; if you are interested in my rehab story, read My Orthopedic Rehab in Bavaria.
What is Elena’s AI Blog?
Like everyone today, I live in an era of rapid AI evolution, which is challenging to understand and live in, even for people with a technical background. However, I like to make things easy to understand while learning new technologies as a passion. This is why I have created this blog to log what I learn and share my ideas and findings.
Now three years old, this blog connects technology with everyday understanding, reflecting my passion for coding and commitment to making complex concepts accessible.

The Blog in 2024
New posts
Elena added just thirty-two new posts to this blog in 2024. We have new posts about Generative AI and Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, types of AI with my views on Superintelligence and The Real Intelligence :) We indeed discussed AI hallucinations and what we can do about it.
We also talked about Robots and bots, Recommender Systems, AI avatars and synthesised voices, Explainable AI, popular chatbots such as chatGPT and Gemini and OpenAI models,
We have explored Python Logging and sending and getting e-mail messages in Python. I have also shared my secrets of How I created my blog. Indeed, we also have a few well-visited posts about Git usage.
We have also started to accept guest posts of good quality. This feature is hidden to filter out random posters. The only requirement is that the guest post be included in this blog’s audience’s AI and Python coding interests. Surely, the house rules apply, and the guest posts should be original, interesting and not wholly AI-generated :)
Social Networking
As a one-person blogger, I have a tough time disseminating my posts and keeping the traffic from Search Engines, notably Google (see my post Regaining Website Traffic After Google Updates about it).
I have started to re-publish some of my posts on Medium. I do it safely to avoid duplicated content, as explained in Avoid SEO Penalties on Medium. I am still learning how the platform works and following the most interesting writers for me. I am not alone as a content creator, and it inspires me to keep going.
I was also very fortunate to be invited to the AI podcast by Cláudia Lima Costa. We had a lovely talk, “How can we build trust and safety about AI?”. Cláudia had fantastic questions I was happy to think about and share my opinion. I have created a new blog tag AI Law with Cláudia’s post “Regulation on artificial intelligence has already been published” on AI Act, well-explained.
Indeed, I post on Pinterest when possible and update my GitHub repositories when I have new code.
Next Year plans?
I have several ideas for how to further evolve my blog in 2025:
-
Enhance Interactive Content. I have deployed several chatbots and a GPT-based playground on this blog. I plan to further enhance the interactive content, preferably with no-code or low-code platforms to implement these features since I am already busy with writing and coding :)
-
Describe AI Learning Paths for my readers who look for structured ways to learn AI, especially beginners and intermediate learners. We plan to create comprehensive learning tracks based on topics like machine learning basics, AI for startups, or ethical AI design. We have several blog posts that can be useful in the learning process, and I will also add some well-trusted external resources.
-
Explore AI trends and new solutions. I plan to write more about emerging technologies, the potential impacts of AI on society, or policy debates surrounding AI regulations. Since I like to ponder the future, I will include some AI predictions. I would love to explore topics like AI in quantum computing, AI-powered space exploration, or the ethical challenges of superintelligent AI.
-
Refresh Old Content to maintain relevance and improve SEO rankings. I will update older posts with new data, better visuals, and references to recent advancements.
-
Have more fun creating and coding my posts and sharing my output on other platforms.
Thank you very much for reading my blog, and write to me anytime if you have any comments or ideas or want to say “Hi!”.
